Renewed Skoda Karoq outlined

The Skoda Karoq presented in 2017 will be renewed very soon. On the basis of two design sketches, Skoda broadly gives away what you can expect from the facelifted Karoq in terms of appearance.

The Skoda Karoq is now four years old, which means that the head office in Mladá Boleslav has already thought about a facelifted variant of Skoda’s competitor, the Seat Ateca and Hyundai Tucson. The Karoq may soon start its second phase of life with a new muzzle that is characterized by a wider and apparently more upright, hexagonal grille. It is flanked by new headlights. The LED daytime running lights are now made up of two parts. Not only is the layout of those viewers new, the shape of the units has also changed. A ‘bite’ was taken from the youngest specimens. Lower on the nose we see an almost mandatory new front bumper with a facelift.

Skoda also makes changes on the back of the Karoq, although they are very subtle. For example, the SUV gets different rear bumpers. The rear lights are a bit more eye-catching. Just like the light units at the front, the rear lights are also different in shape. The interpretation of the rear lights has also been renewed. At the top of the buttocks of the Karoq will soon be a larger spoiler.

Skoda will undoubtedly bring new wheels and paintwork to the Karoq, and the interior will undoubtedly also be overhauled. Count on updated infotainment and possibly even on the arrival of touch-sensitive buttons for, among other things, the climate control. We will know more at the end of November, then Skoda will pull the curtain on the revised Karoq.
