Renewed Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace on the way

Volkswagen is again covered in lumps of modeling clay. The brand is about to present the facelifted Tiguan Allspace, but before that happens, a teaser record of the renewed longer brother of the regular Tiguan is late.

Volkswagen pulled the curtain off the current Tiguan, the Golf’s SUV brother, in 2015. Two years after its market introduction, Volkswagen expanded the European Tiguan range with the Tiguan Allspace (photos 2 and 3). The Tiguan Allspace is about 22 centimeters longer than its shorter brother and also has an 11 centimeters longer wheelbase. The Tiguan Allspace is logically a lot more spacious than the regular Tiguan and is therefore optionally available with a third row of seats, with which the car offers space for seven passengers. The regular Tiguan went under the knife last year and on May 12, the Tiguan Allspace will also be the turn, according to Volkswagen through a teaser record.

This digital drawing already shows a part of the renewed Tiguan Allspace. Do not expect earth-shattering novelties. That has not so much to do with the adjustments themselves, but more with the fact that the facelifted Tiguan Allspace, both at the front and at the rear, undoubtedly resembles the regular Volkswagen Tiguan like two drops of water. The updated rear lights with new LED layout and the car’s model name written centrally on the bottom under the brand logo are already visible.

According to Volkswagen, 1.5 million units have been sold worldwide since the introduction of the longer Tiguan. In total, 55 percent of all Tiguans sold would be an Allspace. Volkswagen also includes the American Tiguan, a car that is simply called ‘Tiguan’ there, but is always the long version. On May 12, Volkswagen pulls the curtain off the renewed Tiguan Allspace. Nice Tiguan encore: in China Volkswagen sells a coupe version of the Tiguan: the Tiguan X. In addition, the brand has two SUVs on the menu with the in the United States called Taos, Taos and Tayron, which are similar in size to the Tiguan.
