AnkerMake M5C 3D printer

This 3D printer is an innovative, sleekly designed printer with only 1 button for operation and without a display. In practice, this is solved by an app on your phone and a Bluetooth connection or your own slicing program for Mac, Windows and Linux. The direct drive extruder is also useful; the bottom and bridge are very stable and sturdy.

Everything is quickly screwed together, partly thanks to the extensive included tool box. The installation was more difficult: the USB-C port did not communicate with our computer. Therefore, install the AnkerMake app on your smartphone, create an account, connect via Bluetooth, specify WiFi settings and download and install software. The app is user-friendly, intuitive to operate and it’s great that you can download models, adjust settings, slice and print models via your phone.

The print speed is high and after optimizations (bridge straightened) the print quality is excellent. Due to the higher temperatures that this printer can reach, there are many materials you can use. Compared to other models in the same price range, you get a lot for your money; the M5 is a bit more extensive and also a bit more expensive. In short, a solid, fast, sexy and loud printer that prints beautifully for relatively little money.
