The AOC Q27B3MA is a sleek black QHD monitor with narrow bezels and a low weight of approximately 3.8 kg. With a favorable suggested retail price of € 189 and offers of € 169, we are curious what we can expect from it.

The AOC Q27B3MA monitor comes with a small round base. The 16:9 VA screen measures 27 inches with a QHD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. That is a very nice format that allows you to display a lot of information sharply on your screen and is also ideal as a second screen for linking to a laptop, for example.
The brightness of the screen is up to 295 nits. VA panels are known for the high contrast in combination with bright colors and this screen lives up to that. We measure a color rendering of 99% SRGB and the calibration is good. The factory brightness value can be slightly reduced for normal use. The viewing angles are less than with an IPS screen, especially at the edges we see slightly less brightness.
All in all, that’s fine for everyday use, but less so for the professional multimedia processor.

Technology
The pixel time is 4 ms and the maximum refresh rate is 75 Hz and is supported by AMD Freesync for playing games that do not make too heavy demands on a screen.
