With the Battery Mode app you can replace the standard battery indicator with a more extensive variant.

Need more control over the energy consumption of your Windows computer? With Battery Mode you can replace the standard battery indicator with a more extensive variant. The program is compact and is started via the system trade in the Windows taskbar, as you are used to from standard battery.

Review Battery Mode: Control over energy consumption

Via the window you can easily switch between the energy schedules of Windows, such as Best performance and Balanced. All available schedules are shown, so that you no longer have to click on to the configuration star. You can also adjust the brightness of all screens with a sliding controller via the Battery Mode pop-up window. If you use a laptop with an external screen, you can adjust at least two settings.

With Battery Mode you can also show the battery percentage directly on the taskbar, so that you can see how much energy is left. Furthermore, the makers have some ‘fondness’ to resolve Windows. A good example of this is the option that prevents the brightness of the screen of your laptop from being adjusted if you do or do not connect the computer to the mains power.
Via a task list you can define actions per situation, for example that a high performance mode must automatically activate if the battery charge is 75 percent or higher and the computer is connected to mains current.
