There are various apps from various makers of the popular card game Phase 10. For Android and iOS, the Dutch-language application of development studio Mattel163 Limited is worthwhile.
The object of this classic card game is to be the first player to complete ten stages. Each stage requires a specific combination of cards, with the difficulty of the combination increasing with each stage. First try to get two sets of three cards with the same number. Your task is to take a card from the face down pile or discard pile each turn until you get the correct number(s).
Phase 10 opens with an extensive explanation, so that the game no longer holds any secrets for you. Place the required combinations on the virtual game board and discard the remaining cards. It is nice that you can request the phase rules at any time.
The app is beautifully designed and the card game is fun to play. As you progress through the game, you’ll unlock new worlds. Invite and compete with friends in multiplayer mode. Don’t forget to use plague cards.
Incidentally, the app for a simple card game is a bit hefty. For example, Phase 10 on an iPhone takes up about 300 MB.
