The makers of the weekly magazine Donald Duck have released an app, intended for the readers of the magazine.
For the time being, this is limited to showing comics and other content. The makers immediately filled the collection of stories: you will already find about a thousand comics in it. You can search by type of story, for example to show only the stories of a certain character.
The app offers access to an annual overview, in which you can see all published weekly newspapers in a row. You can also create your own overview of favorite comics. The static content is supplemented with dynamic content, such as a comic of the day and a daily joke.
The makers have paid a lot of attention to the way you read the stories: you can view them per picture or per entire comic page. The content is also available offline. In addition, you can create multiple profiles in the app, so that you can use it with multiple people. Each profile contains its own set of display settings. Preferences such as the personal comic collection are also linked to the profile.
