Facecam Device Shot 01 With Shadow 2
Standard notebook webcams are often of mediocre quality. Elgato does something about that with the Facecam webcam. The bright F2.4 glass lens in combination with a Sony CMOS sensor gives a clear and sharp 82° full HD image.

Hang the somewhat hefty webcam of 8 x 5 x 6 cm over the edge of your screen and connect it to a USB3 port. Ambient lighting is important, avoiding lamplight on the camera lens. Due to the bright lens, only little light is needed to give a clear image. Optimal sharpness is achieved between 30 and 120 cm.

With the CameraHub application, you can further customize the automatically optimized image to your liking and save the profile in the camera. There is no built-in microphone, because it is assumed that in addition to excellent picture, you also want sound.

If you want to radiate professional quality when generating content and during video conferences, the Facecam is recommended.
