The IPS screen has a 16:9 aspect ratio and a reflection-reducing matte finish. IPS is known for its good viewing angles and correct color reproduction. The measured color coverage is sRGB 97%, AdobeRGB 76% and DCI-P3 79%. The calibration is reasonably good, the brightness is over 300 nits and fine for indoor use. The vertical refresh rate is a maximum of 100 fps and good for smooth display. Adaptive sync prevents the image from being pulled gaming. The MPRT response time for the pixels is 1ms for fast image build-up and smooth display. This makes it a universal monitor for an office environment and medium level gamingbut less suitable for professional image processing and high-end gaming.
On the back we see 1x HDMI 2.0, 2x DisplayPort 1.4 and 2x usb-c. Via the DisplayPort and usb-c can be passed on to another monitor with a maximum resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels.
USB Dock and KVM Switch
The integrated dock/hub, with a high Power Delivery of up to 96 watts, this model provides extra added value in combination with powerful laptops. A single USB-C connection is required between monitor and system, combining image and sound transmission, USB-C hub connection and powering/charging the laptop. This provides a tidy desk and a quick connection to the monitor and wired network (RJ45) and other connections to the hub. The KVM switch allows peripherals, such as mouse and keyboard, to be shared with other connected systems. The number of USB ports is 3x USB-A and 1x USB-C, all with 5Gbps speed.
Ergonomic features
There are ample mechanisms to position the screen as desired, including swivel on the foot, tilt and height adjustment from 15 cm with 5 to 20 cm from the desktop. The entire screen can be tilted (pivot) for vertical viewing. A 10 cm VESA connection allows wall mounting.
Features
The On-Screen-Display-settings are controlled by four buttons next to the on/off button on the bottom right, That works familiar and reasonably well. In addition to the many standard settings we see settings for blue light reduction, color temperature and adaptive sync. The sound comes from two stereo speakers that sound a bit thin and hollow. The average energy consumption is around 36 watts.
Conclusion
