The JBL Live770 NC headphones fall into the mid-price segment and, in combination with a lot of functionality and a long battery life, should appeal to a large group of users.

JBL 1

The JBL Live770 headphones are an over-the-ear model weighing 253 grams with a flexible bracket and rotating earcups with a 40mm driver and soft leatherette ear cushions. There are built-in microphones and the shells have pressure and touch controls for many functions. The JBL Headphones app is available for all other settings. Of Personi Fi you can tune the sound to the quality of your hearing and then adjust it to your own wishes via presets or a manual equalizer.

Smart audio and video settings provide improved audio playback for low-quality music or lipsync for video. The voice assistants Google and Alexa can also be called. You can listen via multipoint Bluetooth 5.3 or 3.5mm jack and, if desired, with noise reduction (ANC). High-resolution codecs are not present. The headphones are supplied with a fabric storage case, 25cm USB charging cable and 125cm 3.5mm jack audio cable.

The listening test produces a clear sound image with an accent on the bass, which comes through surprisingly clearly at normal volume. The noise cancellation works well and with ANC active, fifty hours of listening pleasure are promised. Via the USB-C charging connection you can listen for four hours with five minutes of charging, while a complete charge takes two hours.

All in all, headphones with a lot of functionality, but without hi-res codecsfor a mid-range price.
