Fancy a digital game of keezen? Then install this Dutch app. Keep in mind that you can only play in landscape mode.
If you are not yet familiar with this board game, you may want to watch a five-minute explanation video. You first create an account, although you may also use this app as a guest. Then play online against others or computer-controlled opponents. You simply create a new game with a minimum of two and a maximum of four players. Eight players is also possible, provided you have collected enough coins for this. You receive this by winning games. You can also buy these silver and gold coins.
Although the board is clear, the operation feels rather fiddly on a small smartphone screen. So preferably use a tablet.
This game works simply. Tap on a pawn and then on the card you want to play. Don’t wait too long, otherwise your turn will be over. In the middle there is a chat window where all players can chat. You can adjust the map set, resolution and sounds in the settings if desired.
A plus is that Keezers does not show advertising anywhere.
