Those who used to have a Nokia device could not ignore the game Snake.

Review Nokia classic: Snake ’97

In this dead simple game, a snake picks up food chunks. This makes it longer and longer. As soon as you touch the walls or your own tail, the game ends. The more food you pick up, the higher the score. Try to beat your own high score. Especially when the chunks are right in front of the wall, that requires perfect timing.

The creator of Snake ’97 has accurately recreated the game of yesteryear. For example, the Nokia phone’s screen and control keys match exactly. Even the monotonous squeaks when picking up food are reproduced. Choose your previous Nokia phone in the settings and increase the difficulty (with later devices) by choosing an environment with extra partitions.

A downside is that sometimes a short commercial message appears.
