The OnePlus Watch 2 previously tested is an excellent impressive smartwatch because of the beautiful screen, good performance, very long battery life and a lot of functionality. A while ago the OnePlus Watch 2R appeared with only a few changes, but they make (considerable) difference.
The first difference does not do that: between the beautiful Amoled screen of 1.43 inches (about 3.5 cm) with 466 x 466 pixels and a maximum brightness of 600 Nits and the edge is a dial. More important is the fact that the Watch 2R (46 mm) has an aluminum housing, while that of the 2R is made of steel. This makes the 2R lighter, but can ‘just’ be ‘5 ATM and with IP68 is dust and waterproof.
Furthermore, striking are the 2 chipsets that work well together and the 500 mAh battery that ensure a battery life of 100 hours, the fine Google Wear OS with many (Google) apps, the extra functionality with a OnePlus smartphone and that it is only for use with Android telephones.
Finally, the last difference: he has become cheaper.
