The Philips 55OLED807 has a beautiful design, partly thanks to the thin metal edge and aluminum swivel base.

The TV also has nice specifications: 4K and more importantly: a refresh rate of 120 Hz that ensures really smooth images. In addition, the Philips 807 series uses new OLED EX panels with, among other things, great color reproduction and range, thanks to the support for Dolby Vision, HDR10, HLG and HDR10+. The images are beautifully clear, the image really pops!
This Philips TV is equipped with Ambilight 4, meaning each side is equipped with Ambilight. With the new Aurora function you can set Ambilight to show only one color as mood lighting and you can combine that with, for example, atmospheric or art images. And with Ambilight Plus, the LEDs are controlled individually and not three at the same time for a better ‘color glow’.
With the 4.1 audio system with 70 watts, the sound is excellent, partly thanks to Dolby Atmos and DTS HD. The remote control fits comfortably in the hand, but the buttons (with light!) are too close to each other. The microphone function is positive, for example for quickly finding a program.
This TV has Android TV 11 with numerous apps, including of course the apps from well-known streaming services; The built-in Google Cast is nice, so you don’t need a Chromecast.
The updated P5 processor does its job well and that is also reflected in the good ones upscaling and noise cancellation. Contrast can be adjusted via the good Ambient Intelligence light sensor via three menu options.
In short, the Philips 55OLED807 is an excellent choice if you are looking for an OLED TV.
