Review Pixelshot: Categorize Pictures

You open the gallery of your phone and discover dozens (or perhaps hundreds of) screenshots that you have made over time. How do you apply order to the chaos? Of course, with some help from AI. At least, the Pixelshot app is based on that. The app categorizes the images based on their content.

The text on screenshots is analyzed in a summary, so that in theory you can find the specific pictures relatively quickly. The privacy aspect of such apps is of course important. The makers indicate that the analyzes and images on the phone themselves are processed and the images are not sent to the cloud. The text from the images is sent to the cloud for the actual analysis, but is not stored. The app can also provide the screenshots with a label on which you can search later. You can place the images yourself in collections, so that you can, for example, distinguish between business and private images. If you are not completely satisfied with the generated summaries, you can also add your own notes to the images.
