Podcast apps come in all shapes and sizes. Recently we can add Podopolo to the list. The app presents the available podcasts, but also gives suggestions based on pre-selected podcasts. The emphasis is also placed on the social character.
So you can connect with friends and see which podcasts they have on their list. In addition, you can share and highlight specific podcast broadcasts within your network of followers.
At the moment you can choose from about 4 million broadcasts. Once you expand your profile with areas of interest, the app can highlight relevant podcasts on demand. You can also influence the content via the settings: for example, you can hide podcasts with sensitive or offensive content.
At the time of writing, the app is still in an early testing phase. The functionality is expected to be further expanded over time.
