Praxis built a Sustainability Check into the Praxis Plus app with the aim of having to fill in as little loose information as possible.

If you make your home optimally sustainable, this can have a positive effect on the total energy consumption. Praxis indicates that many Dutch people are not aware of the best steps to make their home more sustainable. The team built a Sustainability Check into its own Praxis Plus app. The basic principle here is to have to enter as little loose information as possible (such as year of construction of the home and gas and electricity consumption).

Personal advice is made based on a photo of the room in the house. For example, with windows you read that it is smart to use insulation foil for the window, and with a radiator that it can be worthwhile to apply radiator foil. Please note that the photo of your home is analyzed on the Praxis servers to ultimately provide advice. The tips come together in a handyman checklist. This not only contains the concrete points, but also additional information. This includes step-by-step plans and instructional videos. Of course, there is also the option to order the necessary parts directly from the hardware store. The app is also equipped with other tools that you can use to improve your home. A good example of this is the calculation tool for floors, with which you can easily measure your floor area and the app calculates the required number of floor parts. Once you have purchased the parts to make the home more sustainable, you can find this in the digital purchase history in the app.
