Spider is one of the more popular two-pile solitaire games. The game’s name comes from the eight legs of a spider, referring to the eight foundation piles that must be filled to win (Wikipedia).

Spider Solitaire from developer MobilityWare brings this popular card game to your smartphone or tablet. The app opens with a clear Dutch explanation. The aim is to arrange the cards from King to Ace. You can easily move cards to the intended place using swipe movements. Incidentally, you can just as easily move a complete row. When there are no more closed cards on the playing field, the game is almost over. You will eventually create eight piles. Try to complete this task with as few moves as possible.
Spider Solitaire helps new players a long way. It tells you exactly which move you can make, for example ‘Put 10 on Jack’ or ‘Put 5 on 6’. With the help of the light you can also ask for a hint yourself if necessary. Do you prefer not to receive automatic hints? Then open the settings and turn this option off.
On a small smartphone screen it can be difficult to tap the right card. Therefore, play this game preferably on a tablet. Above the playing field there is a small advertisement visible. Do you find it annoying? The ad-free Premium version costs 10.99 euros per year.
