Word of Wonders is an absolute must for lovers of language games.

Each level shows a number of empty squares and letters. Try to make words with these letters. That is relatively simple at the beginning. You only receive three letters, so there are not that many combinations possible. Connect the letters in the correct order. You do that with a swipe, after which Word of Wonders automatically fills in the boxes. The further you get, the longer the words.
This app is therefore a great tool to put your Dutch language skills to the test. If you can’t progress in a certain level, you ask for a clue. That costs points, by the way. So you can’t endlessly request hints.
This user-friendly app is very clear, because you don’t have to struggle through all kinds of menus. If you find the striking background sounds annoying, you can switch them off in the settings.
