Rolls-Royce breaks historic sales record

At a time when the international car market has fallen sharply, mainly due to the chip shortage, Rolls-Royce casually reports that it achieved a historic sales record in 2021.

Rolls-Royce is proud to announce that it will have delivered 5,586 new cars in 2021. That’s a whopping 49 percent more than in 2020, but also more than in any other year in the 117-year history of the brand. So a record.

According to the English, the brand mainly owes its record sales to the Ghost. The Ghost was helped by the introduction of the Black Badge version. Rolls-Royce does not release exact figures per model, although the brand indicates that SUV Cullinan and flagship Phantom have also contributed a lot.

Rolls-Royce is currently testing a subtly facelifted Phantom, but also has bigger news in the pipeline. In 2023, for example, the brand will launch its first electric car: the Specter.
