Roofbot: Puzzler On The Roof is Apple’s free app of the week

Roofbot: Puzzler On The Roof is a simple yet addictive puzzle game where you have to navigate balls of energy through a changed landscape. The app is also Apple’s free app of the week.

Roofbot: Puzzler On The Roof

In Roofbot, you control a floating robot named Roofie, whose job it is to collect colored energy balls on roofs. By swiping in a certain direction you move the robot to another square. In this way you have to bring the colored energy balls to the correct destination.

The game is trickier than it sounds. Every time you walk over a square it sinks into the ground. So you will have to plan well in advance how you will get the colored energy spheres into their correct hole. If you fly over one of the colored holes yourself, you fall into it yourself, so you always have to find a route around it.

Are you making a mistake and you no longer have a route to the exit? Then you will have to stay on the roof for eternity. You can also tap the icon at the bottom right to restart life and try again, but with better planning.

Every week, Apple puts an app in the limelight by offering it for free for a week. This is sometimes a game, but sometimes a business productivity app. The offer is renewed every Thursday evening, which means that you can still download Roofbot until next Thursday.
