Royal Enfield has unveiled two special editions of its 650 twin-cylinder models – the Thunder Edition Continental GT 650 and the Lightning Edition Interceptor 650. These come with plenty of original motorcycle accessories as standard.
A standard Continental GT and Interceptor, but equipped with the necessary accessories, in a nutshell, these are the limited editions that Royal Enfield has now launched in Europe and in the case of the Continental GT the Thunder Edition and in the case of the Interceptor the Lightning Edition has christened.
This means that there are no differences with the standard versions in terms of block and bicycle part. According to Enfield that would not have been necessary, the 648cc parallel twin is already being called iconic and the bicycle part developed by Harris (together with the British Technology Center) had already been tested. Lightning Edition Interceptor 650
The Lightning Edition Interceptor 650 is equipped with accessories to further explore less busy roads. The distinctive drop tank with traditional scalloped knee cutouts and wide arched handlebars pay homage to the original Interceptor that defined the street scrambler style of 1960s California.
The comfortable and commanding riding position is both fun and practical for touring and exploring all kinds of terrain, from winding coastal roads to the urban jungle, to getting out of town in two or cruising to the beach in style.
