Samsung will present its new Galaxy S22 series early next month, on February 8. This is according to new rumors from South Korean insiders. The phones will then be available in stores on February 24.
Samsung Galaxy S22 Launch
The February 8 date has already circulated before for the launch of the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 Plus and Galaxy S22 Ultra. This time, the information has been confirmed by insiders who spoke to South Korean media.
So on that day, Samsung will host its next Galaxy Unpacked event, just over a month after the launch of the Galaxy S21 FE. Pre-orders are rumored to start on February 9. The S22 devices will then be shipped from February 21 to people who have placed a pre-order. After that, the devices will be in stores on February 24.
Leaked prices and specs
Indicative prices have also been leaked about the S22 phones recently, pointing to an increase in price compared to last year. The Galaxy S22 would be for sale from 912 euros, 119 euros costs the Plus variant and for the Ultra version you pay 1430 euros. Although we expect that the actual prices will be slightly lower.
The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra will work for the first time this year with an S Pen that gets a place in the housing. It gets a 6.8-inch LTPO AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. The cameras consist of a 108 MP main sensor, a 12 MP wide-angle camera and two 10 MP telephoto cameras. The latter are good for 3x optical zoom and 10x optical zoom.
