Samsung has presented a cheap phone from the Galaxy M series in Germany, and the brand did so in silence. The M22 comes with a 48 MP camera and three other camera sensors. It also has a 90 Hz AMOLED screen and a 5,000 mAh battery. It is not yet known whether he will come to the Netherlands and Belgium.

A new budget smartphone from the Galaxy-M series is ready. In Germany, Samsung has released the Galaxy M22. It has a 6.4 inch AMOLED panel. The screen has a high refresh rate of 90 Hz, so it should be able to display nice animations, but it does come with an HD resolution. The panel has a decent 600 nits brightness and we normally see that earlier with midrange phones. The housing is also made of plastic and the fingerprint scanner is located on the right side
The M22 is aimed at the empty price segment, and you can especially see that in the processor. The performance of the M22 comes from a MediaTek Helio G80 chipset, and it is assisted with 128 GB of storage and 4 GB of RAM. The Helio G80 is a 2.2 GHz chipset that comes with a 4G modem. It is remarkable that this M22 has the same fast charging performance as the S21 Ultra flagship, only the 25 watt fast charger does come in the box. You use it to charge a 5,000 mAh battery. Quite sturdy considering the economical chipset and the HD screen.
In terms of the camera, a 48 MP sensor is in the lead. There is also an 8 MP wide-angle camera, a 2 MP macro camera and a 2 MP depth camera. The movie performance is rather simple, because it films at 1080p and 30 frames per second. On the front is a 22 MP selfie camera in a U-shaped notch.
Prices and availability
One thing Samsung hasn’t disclosed yet is how much their budget phone will cost. In addition, it was purchased in Germany, and it is expected to come to other countries in Europe, but Samsung has not announced anything about it yet.
