Of course we know Samsung from their well -known Galaxy smartphones and tablets, such as the Galaxy S25 series and the Galaxy Tab S10 Fe and SSDs as the 9100 Pro SSD. Samsung is also standing his ground in the field of Gamin Monitors, because Samsung recently announced that it has retained its position as the worldwide market leader in gaming monitors for the sixth year in a row. This is evident from the most recent data from the International Data Corporation (IDC).
Based on total turnover, Samsung conquered a market share of 21.0% of the worldwide market for gaming monitors in 2024 (1). Samsung is also the market leader in OLED monitors for two years in a row, with a market share of 34.6% and only two years after the launch of the first OLED model (2).

Samsung Odyssey Gaming Monitors:

• Odyssey 3D (model G90xF): a 27-inch monitor that offers 3D gaming without glasses, powered by eye tracking and patented lenticular lens technology. With good 2D-to-3D video version via Reality Hub, an image frequency of 165 Hz and a very fast GTG response time of 1 MS. I saw this 3D monitor during the CES 2025 in Las Vegas and I was raced positively.

• Odyssey OLED G8 (Model G81SF): an advanced 27 “or 32” 4K 240Hz OLED-Gaming monitor that sets striking color accuracy and very fast performance thanks to QD-OLED technology. This model has the highest pixel density in its class, a GTG response time of 0.03 ms and Samsung Oled Safeguard+ as protection against burning.

• Odyssey OLED G6 (Model G60SF): a 27 “QHD QD-Oled monitor with a very high image frequency of 500 Hz and a GTG response time of 0.03 ms (planned for launch in the second half of 2025). With the Odyssey G6, Samsung now also wants to become the market leader with speeds and reactive trips.

At the base is Samsung’s own Quantum Dot OLED technology, which improves color accuracy, contrast and brightness in all viewing angles. The performance of the 3 monitors are further improved because they are compatible with NVIDIA G-SYNC and offer support for AMD Freesync Premium Pro (3), which reduces interruptions and delays for the correct OLED gaming experience.
