After a bug, Samsung’s SMS / MMS messaging app may send photos without your knowledge. Here’s how to deny him access to your photos.
If you have a Samsung smartphone, you may have problems with the Manufacturer’s Messages app. This app which sends and receives SMS / MMS can send your photos to randomly selected contacts without warning you. Until Samsung fixes this embarrassing bug, we recommend that you prevent the Messages app from accessing your photos. To do this, you have to go to the Android settings.
- Swipe down from the top of the screen to bring up the settings icon (small cogwheel and tap on it). In the list of settings, tap Applications.

- Scroll down until you find the app Messages and tap on it. To find the program permissions, scroll again and tap Permissions.

- You then access the list of authorizations in the form of switches. Unfortunately, it is not possible to restrict access to photos only, so you must turn off the switch Storage.

- We also advise you to turn off the switch Camera to prevent the app from taking pictures without your knowledge. When Samsung has corrected the bug, all you have to do is activate the permissions you denied again.
