Samsung will hold a new launch event for Galaxy devices on October 20. The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE and the Tab S8 are expected on ‘Galaxy Unpacked Part 2’. We discuss what we expect for this event.

Suddenly it’s there: the next Galaxy device launch event. The event where Samsung will still present its last variant from the S21 series. The Galaxy S21 FE, the ‘Fan Edition’ comes with a new color palette, a 6.41 inch AMOLED screen and a more accessible retail price than its bigger brothers, according to rumors.
‘Galaxy Unpacked Part 2’, as the event is called, will take place on Wednesday, October 20 at 4:00 PM CET. Samsung posted a video on YouTube inviting everyone to the launch of new products that can be followed online on YouTube. In the description of the invitation video, we read: “Our users are so different and lead colorful and interesting lives in unique ways. That’s why the technology we use every day should reflect that individualism.”

In recent months, the launch of the Galaxy S21 FE has been plagued by rumors of a postponement or a launch that would no longer take place at all. The reason for this would be the worldwide chip shortage that makes production more difficult. Samsung now seems to have found a solution, although it is not yet certain whether the S1 FE will also be available worldwide.

In addition to the last phone from the S21 series, Samsung can also announce the Galaxy Tab S8 series, which are new tablets from the high price segment. Samsung is also introducing this product later than expected and information has already been published about a Tab S8 Ultra model with a 14.6 inch screen.
