The Samsung Galaxy S22 series will be strongly intertwined with the well-known Note series, Samsung said in a blog post. The company will launch the phones next month, but there is no official launch date yet. The date February 8 is confirmed by many sources.
Samsung Note teaser
Next month we get to see the Galaxy S22 series, the next generation of high-end smartphones from Samsung. The company itself announced this in a blog post written by TM Roh, the CEO of the mobile division. A teaser video has also been released. That doesn’t scare anyone, because although Samsung keeps its lips tight, the date of February 8 has been circulating for weeks as the expected launch moment.
On that day, at the Galaxy Unpacked event, Samsung will present the Galaxy Tab S8 range in addition to its flagships. It is striking that TM Roh also refers to the Note series in the blog post. He acknowledges that the Note devices were missed by fans last year because of the S Pen experience and focus on productivity and creativity. He also hints with an English pun that the Galaxy S series has never before carried so many features of the Note series as this year.
‘Note-worthy’
Because the pun is difficult to translate into Dutch, we give it untranslated and integral as a quote:
“At Unpacked in February 2022, we’ll introduce you to the most noteworthy S series device we’ve ever created.”
The word usage “Noteworthy” is very similar to a nod to the Note series, but early to be sure Android Authority to Samsung whether they have understood that hint correctly. The statement “most Note-worthy” got the website back in its response.
Galaxy S22 Ultra with S Pen
We expect Note fans to focus their attention on the Galaxy S22 Ultra next month. According to leaked press images, among other things, that phone will be very reminiscent of the Note devices in shape and design. It also comes with a place in the housing for the S Pen. The name ‘Galaxy Note 22 Ultra’ has also been rumored for a while, but it seems that it will not be given that name after all.
