It seems to be a new trend in the smartphone landscape, the virtual expansion of the working memory. Samsung will now also start with it and will roll out the function via a software update.
Expand RAM on Phones
The working memory, also called RAM (Random Access Memory), of a smartphone is the part where the processor can temporarily store its information. When an app is inactive for a while, your smartphone knows exactly where you left off because the data is stored in the available RAM. With more RAM, your phone can run more processes at the same time. Your phone will then be faster. If you perform many tasks at the same time, your working memory may fall short because your phone simply does not have enough RAM. Apps will then be restarted, making the system less responsive.
OPPO, Motorola and Xiaomi have now come up with a ‘trick’ that allows users of their phones to use even more RAM without having to open the phone. They have made it possible to expand the working memory of certain phones. In reality, some of the internal storage is freed up. Keep in mind that this memory is a bit slower than the working memory, so your phone can still become a bit slower when starting apps.

Samsung RAM Plus
Samsung has now also found a way to expand the working memory of your phone. The function is called RAM Plus and will be made available for the Galaxy A52s 5G. The RAM Plus function is based on a function that already exists in Android, but also in almost all other modern operating systems. Samsung is adding the RAM Plus feature to the Galaxy A52s 5G in a new update. Which discovered Sammobile.
