Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus comes with a sequel to the special Boot. There will be a pick-up, which takes a slightly different approach on several fronts.
The SCG Boot first appeared on our screen about three years ago. A specially designed all-terrain vehicle with a thick naturally aspirated 6.2-liter V8 above the rear axle. A 650 horsepower power unit that hurls its roar into the world using two massive eye-level exhausts (Photo 5). Not very subtle, but a car that at least radiates that nothing can stop it. SCG also proved this by winning the Baja 1000 rally in its class in 2019 with an extra rugged version. SCG now comes with a sequel to the Boot. Although its name suggests otherwise, it just becomes a car again. This time only not with a roaring V8 on the back, but a cargo box.
The boat pick-up visible on these renders is equipped with a fuel cell. It naturally shares its basis with the previously shown version, but will therefore pass by a lot more silently. SCG reports that a two-door and a four-door variant of the Boat pick-up is on the way. The eccentric company is still not on the plain about further details, but they promise a ‘very good range’ and refueling hydrogen should even be possible at your house. SCG undoubtedly has a certain service in mind for this that you can purchase when purchasing.
Incidentally, fans of V8 violence also have the option to order a four-door boat (photo above), which does draw its power from that power source. Then you have to do without cargo space in the back, but you do have a pretty luxurious all-rounder. In the interior you will find four leather-covered sports seats and various conveniences such as climate control, cup holders, USB ports and an infotainment system that works with Apple CarPlay. That costs you converted at least € 212,500.
