Scrambler 1100 Tribute PRO: tribute to 50 years of Ducati twins

This year marks exactly 50 years since the first air-cooled twin cylinder was launched at Ducati at Borgo Panigale. As a tribute to fifty years of air-cooled twin-cylinder history, Ducati has expanded the Scrambler family with the Scrambler 1100 Tribute PRO.

A Scrambler 1100 PRO, but with a different – unique – color and some other nice details, that is in a nutshell the Scrambler 1100 Tribute PRO, which was developed by Ducati as a tribute to 50 years of air-cooled two-cylinder history.

That tribute, according to the Italians, is reflected in the chosen color scheme with the fantastic name “Giallo Ocra”, a color that was quite trendy at the time and was used by Ducati on the 450 Desmo Mono and 750 Sport of 1972.

The tribute also harks back to the 750 Supersport used by the Spaggiari team since 1975, which also marked the beginning of an epic era for another great Ducati rider: Franco Uncini.

The festive color scheme is not the only thing that sets the 1100 Tribute PRO apart, the bike also features the Giugiaro-designed iconic 1970s Ducati logo, black wire wheels and a beautiful brown saddle with dedicated stitching. Ducati also talks about round mirrors, but they look identical to the mirrors of the 1100 Dark PRO.

Technically speaking, the Scrambler 1100 Tribute PRO is otherwise identical to the Scrambler 1100 Dark PRO. The air-cooled 1,079 cc V-Twin delivers 86 hp at 7,500 rpm with 88 Nm of torque at 4,750 rpm, has three riding modes (Active, Journey and City), traction control and cornering ABS as standard.
