Free DSG on the Ateca, Arona under 25 grand

Seat is putting various models on sale, and it’s not even about promotional rates. The structural price reductions are supported by a trade-in bonus of €2,000.
Seat is slowly turning into ‘the company behind Cupra’, but for the time being it still simply sells cars under its own brand name. This could be faster in 2024 than last year, because the brand is structurally lowering prices.
The Leon, for example, is now available from €29,750. For that money you get a manual 1.0 TSI 110 hp in Style trim and it cost 32 grand last year. The Leon Sportstourer is also cheaper and now starts at €30,950. Seat now installs a DSG automatic transmission for the Ateca at no extra cost. This is only available on the 150 hp 1.5 TSI, which costs at least €42,950 with both manual and automatic transmissions. According to Seat, this provides a benefit of €3,600, while a price reduction even boosts profits to €5,200.
Ibiza and Arona
As usual, we find the Ibiza at the bottom of the range, which now costs at least €21,990. Remarkably, that is slightly more than a year earlier (€21,550), but this is different with the Arona. The simplest Arona now costs €24,990, while a year ago you paid €25,450 for a manual Reference with 95 hp.
Tarraco PHEV
The large Tarraco also won prizes. The SUV is now available from €41,980, or €44,980 for those who want the 1.5 TSI with automatic transmission. A smarter choice may be the plug-in hybrid. The Seat Tarraco PHEV returned to the price list in 2023 after a short absence. Back then it cost €48,995, now you can get such a plug-in Tarraco for €46,990.
Trade-in prices
Seat tries not only to attract buyers with lower prices, but also with favorable trade-in prices. Seat says it is adding 2 grand on top of the trade-in price, which should make the bottom line even cheaper. Would you rather lease privately? If we can believe Seat, even that has become cheaper.
