Many banks have apps for banking on mobile devices. Handy, but how do you handle it safely?
Mobile banking security
A great many people do their banking via an app on their mobile phone or tablet. Transfer money, view balance, create a piggy bank, you name it. The banks have of course secured their apps well. So good, in fact, that mobile banking is safer than via the computer. Why this is the case is explained in the article ‘Why banking via an app is safer’.
The apps of the banks
All banks have an app. Read more about the different apps from banks in the articles below:

Keep code secret
Banks’ apps are very secure. What to do yourself Do not write down the login code for banking anywhere and do not pass it on to others. Protect the banking code just as much as you protect your debit card PIN.
Banking on the go
Are you out of the house and want to bank? Always do this via the mobile network of your provider, i.e. the 4G network. This connection is the safest. It is very unwise to bank via WiFi networks outside the home, because then hackers could possibly watch. Read more about this in the article ‘Safe internet on the go’.
