Any plans for the weekend of September 22? And own a Royal Enfield? The British/Indian brand has announced the annual “One Ride”, which will take place this year on Sunday, September 22, 2024.
One Ride is a global event that celebrates the shared passion for riding Royal Enfield motorcycles, bringing together thousands of riders of all ages and backgrounds in over 50 countries.
It is one of the largest community motorcycle rides in the world, according to Enfield, where Royal Enfield owners and enthusiasts meet to celebrate their shared passion for the brand and riding. Since its inception in 2011, this annual event has become a symbol of unity and the unique experience of riding a Royal Enfield.
The rides are held simultaneously in cities around the world, ranging from the bustling streets of Mumbai to the serene landscapes of Tuscany, and from the major cities of the United States to the scenic routes of Australia.
Anyone who owns a Royal Enfield motorcycle is welcome to join the One Ride. Registration can be done through the official Royal Enfield website or through local dealers.
In the Netherlands, routes have been planned from various Royal Enfield dealers to the Royal Enfield BENELUX headquarters in IJsselstein.
Safety is paramount during the event, with the necessary precautions and guidance on site. Food and drinks are available for all participants upon arrival, so that everyone can hit the road full of energy afterwards to all corners of the Netherlands.
This year Michiel Snik, Editor-in-Chief at Mediahuis Nederland, will be present with his Himalayan 450, on which he has covered more than 15,000 km through Belgium, Germany, Austria, Greece, Turkey, Bulgaria, Serbia, Croatia and Slovenia.
