Your own photo or favorite picture as the background of Safari? Easily set the background of the internet browser yourself. That’s possible since the Mac update Big Sur.
Safari
Personalization is fun. This gives the computer a personal touch. Provide the Safari home page with a personal background with, for example, a photo of your grandchildren, a holiday snapshot or an image of your favorite work of art. To set the wallpaper, Safari 14 is necessary. This latest version of the browser is installed by default with an update to Mac operating system Big Sur. But it is also available as a standalone download for Mojave and Catalina operating systems.
Check the Safari version on your device as follows:
- Open Safari.
- click on Safari > About Safari.
- Check the first two digits after ‘Version’. Anything from 14 is good. Update to the latest version if necessary.
