On holiday to Austria? Then you would be wise to purchase a toll vignette in advance. Are you planning to just cross Austria? Then from now on you can buy a toll vignette for just one day.
A – correctly stuck on a large part of the A and S roads in Austria! – toll vignette required. Until recently, you could only buy toll vignettes that were valid for a period of 10 days or more. For example, you could purchase an Austrian toll vignette with which you could drive worry-free kilometers on most Austrian roads for 10 days, 2 months or a year. Are you only planning to travel through Austria in one go and will you therefore drive through the country in just one day? Then you can now buy a vignette that is valid for one day.
The Austrian toll vignette with a validity of one day has been available and usable since December 1. They can be purchased at toll booths, gas stations and tobacconists in the country, among others.
