On Thursday, Peugeot presented a new logo, a logo that is strongly based on the variant of the Peugeot logo that the brand carried until the early 1970s. In a flashy promotional video, full of people who undoubtedly live their lives according to a certain lifestyle, Peugeot secretly shows some pieces of the new 308.
Techzle could already conclude from previous spy records that the new Peugeot 308 is to some extent an evolution of the current model. In several ways, by the way. For the exterior, Peugeot sticks to the basic shape of the 308, so the new one also comes as a five-door hatchback with rounded windows against the C-pillar. The new Peugeot 308, already shown in this video with the new Peugeot logo, gets sharply drawn headlights with LED spurs, tusk-like elements that give the front view in the dark some recognisability. At the rear, the 308 gets flat wide lighting, light units of which the interpretation can now also be seen. Just like the 508, the new Peugeot 308 also has oblique LED stripes in its rear lights, although the 308 is three single, diagonally placed ones.
The new Peugeot 308, like the DS 4, will be based on a further development of the platform of the current model, the EMP2 base. A fully electric Peugeot 3o8 is most likely not in the barrel. Peugeot does come with one, but possibly with several plug-in hybrids.
