Singer Turbo Study now also available as a convertible

Can you appreciate the creations of the American Singer? Then this day is probably off to a great start for you. Singer presents an open Turbo Study. The Singer Turbo Study convertible combines the basis of a 911 964 with the external features of the 930 and various modern gadgets.

Singer Vehicle Design released the special Turbo Study earlier this year. It took a 964-generation Porsche 911 as its basis, provided it with many of the exterior features of the 930 Turbo and modernized numerous things. Now Singer also comes with an open Turbo Study, which largely works in the same way.

For example, the body is again largely made of carbon fiber and, among other things, equipped with extra air passages just in front of the rear wheels. Furthermore, the car is hidden behind retro Fuchs wheels with carbon ceramic brakes and the suspension has been renewed. The latter should make the Turbo Study a pleasant car for longer distances, although you can also go for a tighter adjustment at an additional cost.

Of course there is also something special at the back of the Turbo Study, namely a 3.8 six-cylinder boxer engine (a further development of the block of the 911 997 Turbo) with two turbos and intercoolers. In the Singer Turbo Study, the power unit is good for an optional 510 American horsepower, all of which goes to the rear wheels. A less powerful 450-hp variant is also available. The transmission is a six-speed manual.

In the interior of the Singer Turbo Study Convertible it is again the Porsche 911 930 that strikes the clock, although you do sit on modernized electrically adjustable seats, there is an induction charger for your phone and a phone holder is integrated in the dashboard. The color scheme of the interior can be ordered entirely according to your wishes at Singer. It is not yet known how many copies of the Turbo Study convertible will be made and what the entire party should cost.
