Skoda Enyaq ‘Coupé’ with less camouflage and fewer pixels

Skoda is working on a more streamlined electric Enyaq iV. The ‘Enyaq Coupé’ can now be seen for the first time without a fully wrapped butt, but unfortunately on a very small picture.

The picture in question has surfaced on the Spanish-language Instagram channel ‘Cochespias‘and unmistakably shows the Skoda Enyaq Coupé, as it was also previously seen on Techzle.nl. The big difference is that the back is no longer hidden under a thick layer of camouflage material.

However, the rear side window is still taped, so that unfortunately the car cannot be fully assessed. It also does not help that the picture is very minimal in size. We can now get a better picture of the rear lights, which seem to be less pointed than the copies of a regular Enyaq.

“SUV coupes” are quite popular, but also receive a lot of criticism. After all, viewed objectively, they only offer drawbacks, because the rather taste-sensitive carriage comes at the expense of a lot of interior space. Whether such a ‘coupé’ fits with a down-to-earth brand like Skoda is therefore debatable. We do expect this smoothed Enyaq to have at least one measurable advantage: a sloping roof line means a better aerodynamic line and therefore lower energy consumption and a (slightly) larger action radius. We also see that effect with the E-Tron Sportback, which is just further than a regular Audi E-Tron.
