It promises to be a busy week full of big firsts. In addition to the S-class and the renewed Peugeot 3008, all eyes will be on Skoda at a later date, because it shows its brand-new electric Enyaq iV. Mladá Boleslav is probably already quite disappointed, because Enyaq ends up on social media at an early stage.
Because Motor16 has not fully adhered to the embargo rules, we can show the Skoda Enyaq iV earlier than planned. It is not a few paltry photos, because the electric Skoda is razor-sharp from all angles leaked. The significantly bigger brother of the Volkswagen ID.3 is characterized by much more angular lines on the body. Where the ID.3 has a somewhat rounder appearance, this Enyaq is a bit tougher on its wheels. Furthermore, Skoda clearly pours its own design sauce over the electric SUV. Take the typical grille, distinctive lights and Skoda font on the tailgate. With the Enyaq iV, however, it is striking that Skoda has its own characteristics ready for its EVs. Take the layout of the grille: it is overloaded with LED lights that appear like an illuminated grid in the dark.
As these photos show, customers can opt for lavish colorways. Take the mint green version or the black one with the copper-colored details. The inside is also leaked. There it is a familiar story with recognizable lines, although the screen is clearly a size larger than other Skoda models. The brown leather interior looks good on him!

The Enyaq iV, like a wide range of new EVs from the Volkswagen Group, will be placed on the modular MEB platform specially developed for electric cars. The Enyaq iV will be 4.65 meters long and 1.62 meters high. This makes it a lot longer than the ID.3 (4.26 m), but the wheelbase corresponds to 2.77 meters. The luggage compartment has a capacity of 585 liters, slightly less than that of the current Octavia Combi (610 liters). The basic version will receive a 52 kWh battery pack in combination with a 148 hp electric motor. This variant must be able to travel 340 kilometers (WLTP) on a load. The range is currently up to 460 km with a 77 kWh variant.
Later today Skoda itself pulls the curtain off the Enyaq iV. More detailed information will follow.
