Alternative motorizations follow quickly

More motorizations will be available in September. The 1.0 TSI e-Tec gets mild hybrid technology that stores and returns released energy when accelerating, or when coasting with the engine turned off. This motorization (110 hp) always comes with a 7-speed DSG automatic. The second variant is the plug-in hybrid Octavia iV 1.4 TSI, whose petrol engine works together with an electric motor and battery (system power 204 hp). This allows up to 60 km (WLTP) to be driven fully electrically. Finally, you drive on natural gas with the 1.5 TSI G-Tec (131 hp). The range is 500 km (WLTP), but you drive cleaner than with petrol.
