Skoda expands price list Octavia with 1.0 TSI

The brand new Skoda Octavia has now been available for a few months as an extra luxury First Edition with the 150 hp 1.5 TSI in the Dutch showrooms. However, it is now time for some company of more regular models.

Skoda parks the 110 hp 1.0 TSI in the price list for the new Octavia Hatchback and Combi. That is now a well-known block, which is also placed in the nose of, for example, the new Volkswagen Golf and Seat Leon. As with those family members, this block in the Octavia is standard linked to a manual six-speed gearbox. With the blown 1.0, the Octavia takes just under 11 seconds to sprint from a standstill to a speed of 100 km / h.

The good news of the whole is the fact that the base price for an Octavia decreases considerably due to the milder motorization. For the so far only 1.5 TSI First Edition available, Skoda asked for at least € 33,050 for the hatchback and € 34,350 for the station wagon. As of August 1, the Octavia 1.0 TSI is available from € 26,990 as a Business Edition. As an Ambition, the Octavia is available from € 27,290. For the more luxurious Style version, prices start at € 29,090. In both cases, an additional € 1,500 must be invested for the Combi.

Standard equipment (Ambition) includes features such as the central 10-inch multimedia screen with standard navigation, Skoda Connect, automatic air conditioning, cruise control and LED all-round lighting. With the Style, keyless entry and start, around parking sensors and seat heating, are added to the list. The Business Edition has things like an electrically operated tailgate, sports seats (Sport Business) and climate control over three zones (Business Edition Plus) on board.

The price list will be supplemented from September onwards. Then Skoda will put a price tag on the Octavia with the mild hybrid 1.0 TSI e-TEC, the plug-in hybrid iV models and the 1.5 TSI G-Tec on natural gas.
