Elroq?
Skoda is teasing with a photo and a video in which we vaguely see the nose of a new EV. It looks like the reveal won’t be long in coming.
Skoda will present its annual figures next Friday, but that is not the only thing the Czechs will reveal. We can also expect some more images of a brand new EV from the brand. The unnamed electric car is now shown from the front. To be honest, we are not much wiser from the teaser. It is clear that the EV has a considerably different nose than, for example, the also electric Skoda Enyaq.
This is not really a surprise, because we already know that the Skoda Vision 7S concept car was a preview of a series of new EVs with a new design language. We bet that we are dealing with the Skoda Elroq, because we expect it this year. The Elroq will be a smaller brother of the Enyaq and can be seen briefly as an electric alternative to the Karoq and a competitor to cars such as the Peugeot e-3008 and the Kia EV5. More soon!
