Skoda Roadiaq: electric Enyaq as a camper

Do you want to go camping with your electric Skoda Enyaq iV, but don’t feel like setting up a tent and don’t get jitters in the underbelly of a roof tent? Then Skoda will soon come up with a solution. It’s working on the Roadiaq, a camping version of the Enyaq iV! Unfortunately, there is an anaconda-sized viper in the grass.

Unfortunately, the Skoda Roadiaq that they are tinkering with in Mlada Boleslav will not go into production. In fact, it remains with a single copy. It is a creation of the Skoda Vocational School and is therefore nothing more than a glorified student project. However, this year is again a special one. The Roadiaq is the ninth creation of a team of Skoda students. Previous special appearances included the Citijet, the Funstar, the Atero, the Element, the Sunroq, the Mountiaq, the Slavia and the Afriq.

Nice tinkering.

The 29 smart people adjust the roof of the Enyaq iV, resulting in the electric SUV being no less than 35 centimeters higher. The car length, width and wheelbase are identical to those of the Enyaq iV. The special creation must be able to function not only as a camper van, but also as a mobile workplace and is therefore endowed with solar cells. You can attach a tent to the tailgate to further increase the usable space. According to the Czechs, there is even a real kitchenette in the luggage compartment.

The Skoda Roadiaq will be presented in its entirety later this month.
