Honda has hung Dutch price tags on the brand new Jazz Hybrid. Finally, the brand also releases powertrain specifications.
Honda presented the completely new Jazz to the world at the Tokyo Motor Show in October, a car that is always equipped with a hybrid powertrain in Europe. Honda asks at least € 24,400 for the Jazz in the Netherlands. The Crosstar flavor, decorated with cross-over details, has a price tag of € 29,950. For the first time, Honda is also telling you more about the powertrain of the new Jazz that will be available at dealerships from the summer.
In the muzzle of the new Jazz Hybrid is a 1.5-liter four-cylinder petrol engine that receives support from two small electric motors with a peak power of 253 Nm. The system power is 109 hp, enough to help the hybrid Honda in 9.4 counts at a speed of 100 km / h. A regular transmission is missing and Honda opts for a fixed direct connection with a fixed transmission ratio between the moving parts. No CVT in the Jazz. Its top speed is 175 km / h. The fuel consumption is more interesting. Honda gives an average combined consumption of 4.5 l / 100 km. The Crosstar is slightly thirsty at 4.8 l / 100 km.
The luggage space of the Jazz is 298 liters, but those who flatten the rear seat can bring a total of 1,203 liters. This brand-new Jazz, also top-of-the-range, gets the very useful Magic Seats in the back. The Jazz has an infotainment system that is compatible with both Apple Carplay and Android Auto. The standard equipment includes adaptive cruise control and Lane Keep Assist. Also included as standard: Collision Mitigation Brake System, a system that (now also at night) can detect cyclists and pedestrians and can brake when necessary. Road Departure Mitigation is also standard. Blind Spot Detection and Cross Traffic Monitor is standard on the more expensive Executive flavor.
