Fix a skewed horizon on a photo in a few clicks with the Photos app in Windows 10.
Edit image with Photos
Windows 10 comes with the free Photos app by default. Small photo edits are possible here. For example, fix a skewed horizon in the following way:
- In the Photos app, click a photo.
- Click on the top right To process. For the (Fall) Creators Update of Windows 10, first click on Edit and create.
- click on Crop and rotate.
- Click with the left mouse button on the white dot next to ‘0 degrees’ and keep the mouse button pressed.
- Move up or down until the horizon is straight. Guides appear automatically so that you can position the horizon horizontally.
- If you don’t like the result, click Reset. click on Ready if you are satisfied with the result.
- Save the photo. Choose Save a copy to keep the original photo. Choose Save to apply the edit to the original.
