Top 10 most wanted used cars per province
The Volkswagen Golf was the most searched for second-hand car in the Netherlands in October, according to sales site Autoscout24.nl, which has analyzed the search behavior of its users at national and provincial level. Flevoland, Zeeland and Drenthe, among others, still seem quite a few petrol heads to live. For example, we find the Chevrolet Camaro and the Hummer H1 among the most popular used cars locally.
In October, the Dutch again flocked behind the computer in the hunt for a new used car. The Volkswagen Golf was the most searched used car on Autoscout24.nl that month. On a national level, the top 10 most wanted cars on the sales site is mainly a German party. We find the Volkswagen Polo in second place, followed by the Audi’s A3 and A4 in places three and four.
The Ford Focus, which is in fifth place, is the first car in the top 10 that does not come from the Volkswagen Group. The BMW 3 Series is in sixth place, followed by the Ford Fiesta in seventh place. The eighth place is for the Opel Corsa, which is the last car that was not assembled by a brand of the Volkswagen Group. In positions nine and ten we find successively the Audi A6 and Seat Ibiza.

Outliers
At the provincial level, we find striking outliers. Although the Golf and Polo are in first and second place in all provinces except Flevoland and Zeeland, it goes without saying that completely different cars are also sought after. We find the top 10 of the most sought-after used cars in Drenthe, namely the Mazda RX-7 in sixth place, the Infiniti FX in ninth position and the Porsche Cayenne in tenth place. But it can be even more striking. In Flevoland, the Chevrolet Camaro is the most sought after used car after the Volkswagen Golf. In North Holland, the Porsche Panamera claims sixth place and in Zeeland it is the bottomless petrol pit Hummer H1 that rumbles into the top 10 with a sixth place. Also striking is the Japanese who narrowly stays ahead of him with a fifth place: the Nissan 350Z. Each and every one of them are bright spots in the car landscape dominated by average models.
