Price adjustment
It has been quiet around the Suzuki Across, the twin brother of the Toyota RAV4, for a while now. However, the always plug-in hybrid Suzuki Across is still on the price lists and is even becoming slightly more expensive than it was. You get both more and less in return.
The prices of the Suzuki Across are adjusted more than once. The plug-in hybrid twin brother of the Toyota RAV4 came onto the Dutch market at the end of 2020 and cost a far from modest €65,000. Very shortly after its Dutch market introduction, Suzuki lowered the price of the Across. And sturdy too. The brand took a good €9,000 off the starting price, giving the SUV an asking price of €55,900. In 2022, another €1,000 was taken from this. As of 2023, prices were adjusted again, but increased at the time. An additional €2,500 was added. The Suzuki Across is now slightly more expensive again. The price of the only available version increases by €800.
The plug-in hybrid Suzuki Across is now in the order books for €59,495. Nothing changes in the technology of the car and the appearance of the Suzuki Across also remains untouched. What does change? The equipment. The Suzuki Across always had an extensive multimedia system, but navigation software was missing and was not available as an option. From now on, navigation software has been incorporated into the infotainment system. That makes a difference. Suzuki is also expanding the already long list of standard passive and active safety systems with Intelligent Speed Assist. Whether that should make you happy is another matter. It is a system that is mandatory on all cars presented since July 6, 2022. From July 7, 2024, the measure will apply to all new cars, including existing models. It notifies you as soon as you exceed the speed limit and it must be turned off manually if desired. Suzuki also replaces the regular spare wheel under the loading floor with a tire repair kit.
The Suzuki Across always has a 306 hp plug-in hybrid powertrain that consists of a 185 hp 2.5 four-cylinder petrol engine and two electric motors. The Across should travel up to 75 kilometers on electric power alone.
