Tuner Techart has violated the latest generation of the Porsche 911 Turbo. The visual adjustments are currently only visible on paper, but Techart has also been fiddling with under the hood. The result? More than 700 horsepower.
The new creation of the tuner can be called subtle if you look at what Techart put on the road last year. In fact, in the photos of the tuner, the 992 Turbo S only features other wheels and the sports exhaust. The press release also includes some sketches that show what the body kit should eventually look like. The front bumper is more aggressive, with a splitter that appears to be further forward. On the side skirts are so-called airblades mounted and the rear spoiler seems to have been changed. Only a small part of this can be seen, because Techart does not reveal the design of the rear. According to the tuner, a diffuser has been mounted with additional air outlets. It looks like this on the standard 992. Of course, adapted wheels in the form of five-spoke forged ones cannot be missed.
In terms of power, the tuner also does not show the back of its tongue. The GTstreet RS, which was based on the 991 Turbo S, delivered 770 hp and 920 Nm of torque. The power kit for the 992 Turbo delivers a power boost of 60 hp and 100 Nm of torque, giving the Turbo S 710 hp and 900 Nm. Not childish values, but not yet the highest attainable. By the way, Techart reports that the power kit is linked to the selected driving mode. When driving in Wet mode, the ECU squeezes the available additional power. For those who want more noise Elfer If desired, Techart can fit a sports exhaust. The 911 can also be lowered by 15 to 40 mm, while retaining the lift system on the front axle.
The tuner does not report how much these upgrades cost. Naturally, this depends on the wishes of the customer. Everything can be adjusted in the interior, from the leathers to the moldings, the steering wheel and the pedals. Or you can wait for the tuner to come up with an even more intense version of the 992 Turbo, of course.
