Tesla Model Y interferes with traffic this year and in the US that will even happen next month. Tesla has informed various customers that they can expect their new car in March. A little earlier than was initially communicated.
The market launch of the Tesla Model Y is increasingly pushed forward in the home country of the US. Last year, autumn 2020 was mentioned as the deadline for the first deliveries, but in January there were already rumors that the Model Y would go to the first owners this spring. According to Electrek, more and more messages are coming from customers in the US who hear from Tesla that their car will be delivered in March.
This concerns Performance versions of the new Tesla, which is said to be received at the earliest after 15 March. Less-favored variants will follow later this spring, probably around April / May. It remains to be seen what this means for delivery to the Netherlands. In principle, the European Model Y has to roll out of the yet to be built factory in Germany, so that can take a while. That will certainly not happen again this year. Who knows, before that time a series of shiploads from America will come this way. We already know roughly in which direction the Dutch prices of the Model Y are going.
